We are pleased to introduce our advanced deposition manipulators, engineered for high-temperature applications and designed for substrates up to 8 inches in diameter. Featuring a robust SiC heater element, these manipulators can operate in a range of gas atmospheres, offering precise temperature control and uniform heating up to 1000°C. This makes them ideal for demanding surface science and material processing applications.

Our manipulators are available in two configurations to meet specific experimental requirements:

Vertical Manipulators: Designed for continuous sample rotation and fine Z-axis adjustment, enabling precise sample positioning and distance control. This configuration is perfect for experiments that require stable heating and accurate alignment.
Horizontal Manipulators: In addition to continuous rotation, these manipulators allow precise control over the sample’s tilt angle relative to evaporation sources, making them particularly suited for thin film deposition where the angle of incidence is crucial.

Both versions are equipped with advanced motion control, temperature regulation systems, and a sample shutter for precise exposure control during experiments. They ensure consistent performance in vacuum or controlled pressure environments, ranging from high vacuum to millibar levels.

A 6-axis advanced manipulator for material deposition is a highly precise automated system designed for complex, multi-directional movements. It offers full control over six degrees of freedom, allowing for highly accurate positioning and orientation of materials in space. This enables the deposition of thin films, coatings, or other materials with high precision on complex geometries or surfaces. The manipulator is typically integrated with deposition equipment such as PLD, sputtering or other vapor deposition systems and is used in advanced research, where precision and repeatability are critical.

XY-Motion – motorized +/- 12,5 mm
Z-Motion – motorized: typical range 100 mm. Others possible in combination with customer needs
Shutter-Motion Z – motorized 20mm
Substrate receiving – pneumatic motion
R1-Motion – motorized +/- 180 deg

Switchbox -our new product

SWITCHBOX DC/RF – is a stand-alone unit used to switch the output of RF power generators or DC sputter power supplies between multiple outputs.

Switching configuration is fully customised with up to 5 power supplies and 12 magnetron sources!
