ECOSS 2026 — Oslo, Norway · 31 August – 4 September
The 39th European Conference on Surface Science brings together researchers from across Europe and beyond to discuss the latest advances in the physics and chemistry of surfaces — from 2D materials and surface catalysis to quantum technologies and advanced experimental methods.
We’re proud to support ECOSS 2026 as a sponsor, and to help fund the conference prizes alongside SpecsGroup. For us, ECOSS is home turf: it’s where the people who use our instruments every day come to share what they’ve discovered with them.
ECASIA 2026 — Brussels, Belgium · 13–18 September
Two weeks later we head to Brussels for the European Conference on Applications of Surface and Interface Analysis. Where ECOSS spans surface science broadly, ECASIA zooms in on the analytical side — XPS, spectroscopy, and the techniques used to characterise surfaces and interfaces in real materials.
This is the natural place to talk about our analytical components — X-ray and UV sources, energy analysers — and about how our systems bring preparation and analysis together under a single vacuum. If surface characterisation is at the heart of your work, let’s meet here.
SEMICON Europa 2026 — Munich, Germany · 10–13 November
In November we move from the research lab to the industry floor. SEMICON Europa at Messe München — is Europe’s largest platform for the electronics and semiconductor supply chain, drawing tens of thousands of engineers, decision-makers and manufacturers.
As surface science converges with device-scale process development, this is where those two worlds meet. We’ll be there to talk about UHV systems built for larger substrates, sample handling and transfer at wafer scale, and thin-film deposition and analysis for semiconductor and quantum applications.
