SFRS Plastic Scintillators

Last week we were pleased to host representatives from GSI and FAIR – Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe GmbH at PREVAC for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of SFRS Plastic Scintillators.

The visit of Martyna Czogalik, Beata Walasek-Hoehne and Ingo Deppner was a great opportunity to jointly verify key performance parameters and ensure full compliance with the demanding technical requirements of the Super-FRS project.

These components play a crucial role in beam diagnostics systems, enabling precise time-of-flight measurements and reliable particle identification within one of Europe’s most advanced research infrastructures.

During the FAT, our teams worked side by side, validating system functionality, quality standards, and readiness for integration. This milestone reflects not only technological excellence, but also the strength of international collaboration driving innovation in scientific instrumentation.
